Choose between sharing a Sumsub token, sharing a Persona inquiry, or submitting your own encrypted KYC payload.
If you have already verified a customer somewhere else, you do not have to collect
their identity again. Rain accepts a verification you already ran, so the customer
is not asked twice for the same documents. There are three ways in, and which one you use depends on where the verification
already lives.
The fields the consumer application endpoint lists for that vendor
Sumsub and Persona token sharing are both available for Consumer Card Programs only.
Sharing a verification does not skip screening. Rain still runs AML, PEP, and
sanctions screening on every party, and still applies its country rules. See
Verification requirements & screening.
Sumsub and Persona each have their own guide, listed in the Choose your path
table. For any other supported vendor, connect it in your dashboard first:
1
Find the integration in your developer dashboard
In your developer dashboard, go to the Config page and look for the External integrations section. The available compliance providers are listed there.
External integrations in the developer dashboard
2
Activate the integration
Click the plus icon next to your compliance provider. Youβll need to provide some information to enable the integration. For a worked example of what that involves, see Persona token sharing, which walks through activating a vendor and supplying its API key.
3
Share the verification on the application
See the consumer application endpoint to learn how to use it. The endpoint documentation includes a list of the available compliance providers and the fields you must fill in to share your data.
