applicationReason label, start with the rejection reasons
reference, which is organized by label and tells you what to do about each one.
Each rejection reason is listed with the following attributes:
- Group ID: A category that groups related rejection reasons (for example, document issues, identity mismatches, fraud signals).
- Reason: A human-readable label used in the Dashboard to describe the rejection reason.
- Reason ID: A unique machine-readable identifier for the rejection reason, returned via the API and used in system integrations.
Severity is a property of the label, not of the group. A single group can hold both temporary and final labels, so check the label in the rejection reasons reference before you prompt anyone to resubmit. Final rejections are permanent and cannot be overturned through resubmission.
