# Redemptions Overview

> Learn how cardholders can redeem their Raindrops for value.

Cardholders can redeem minted points in several ways:

  Apply points toward cardholder credit. Rain handles this automatically for Rain-Managed programs. Partner-Managed Offchain programs call Rain's API to debit points and then apply the credit themselves; Partner-Managed Onchain programs manage it entirely in their own ledger.
